This policy explains what content Living Here publishes, what is not permitted, and how users and third parties can report content they believe is harmful, unlawful, or inaccurate.
It also describes the steps we take when we receive a report and the timelines we target.
Living Here publishes anonymised aggregate review data derived from verified-resident submissions. No individual review is ever displayed publicly — only aggregated scores and statistics are shown.
We also host building forums where verified current residents of a property can exchange information with their neighbours. Forum posts are visible only to verified residents of the relevant building.
The following content is not permitted on the platform:
Defamatory accusations that cannot be substantiated by the person making them. Naming or identifying individual employees of property management companies or other service providers. Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse directed at any person. Sharing personal data of others without their consent (doxxing). Unverifiable claims presented as established fact rather than personal experience. Off-topic content unrelated to the building, its services, or the immediate neighbourhood. Content that is unlawful under Swiss law.
If you see a forum post that may violate this policy, use the report button on that post. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team.
Aggregate review data cannot be individually disputed because individual reviews are not publicly displayed. If you have a concern about the review system itself, contact us via the contact form.
Property management companies, building owners, employees, and other third parties who believe that content on Living Here is unlawful or in breach of this policy may submit a notice to legal@livinghere.ch.
Your notice should include: the URL or a precise description of the content in question; the specific claim or statement being challenged; the reason you consider it unlawful or in breach of this policy; and your full contact details so we can follow up.
Incomplete notices may delay our response.
We aim to acknowledge receipt of a report within 48 hours. We target a resolution within 72 hours of acknowledgement. Complex cases — for example where we need to seek further information or legal advice — may take longer, and we will inform you if that is the case.
These are targets, not guarantees. We handle reports in the order received and prioritise those involving potentially unlawful content.
Following review of a report we may: leave the content unchanged if we find no violation; hide the content pending further investigation; remove the content if it breaches this policy or Swiss law.
We do not modify user-submitted content. Content is either retained in its original form or removed.
Every moderation action taken on the platform is recorded with a timestamp, the identity of the acting moderator, and the reason for the action. This log is retained internally for accountability purposes.
We do not publish the contents of individual moderation logs, but the existence of the audit trail is part of our commitment to transparent governance.
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced on the platform and, where appropriate, by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
