FAQ

Who can write a review?

Current residents can write one review for their current building address.

Are reviews anonymous?

Yes. Reviews are published without any public identity information. Your name is never displayed alongside your review.

How do I access the neighbours forum?

Set your building address, write a review to confirm you live there, and start address verification (you get immediate access while we review). Once verified, open the forum from the building page. Verified residents use it for the obvious things — a broken elevator, a noise question, lost keys — but also for giving away furniture, borrowing a drill, or finding out who else has a dog. A noticeboard that reaches every apartment, not just the ones near your door.

How do I verify my address?

Upload a recent official document showing your name and address (e.g. utility bill, lease, or official letter). You get access to the forum and full features immediately while our team reviews your document — usually within a few days. Your document is deleted as soon as your verification is approved or denied — we do not retain copies.

Can I change my address later?

Yes. You can update your address in Settings. Your previous reviews remain visible, but forum access and verification are tied to your current address. Changing your address will reset your verification status.

Can I change my name after verification?

Yes. However, changing your name will reset your verification status and you will need to verify your identity again.

How are ratings calculated?

Ratings are averaged across all reviews for each building. Each resident submits one review, ensuring each building gets a fair, balanced score.
